April was designed as a donation for a fundraiser that I was recently a part of.  It has an beautiful antique, green, blue, and gold earring as it's pendant.  I strung it with two different strands, one is a mixture of pearl and crystal beads, and the other with topaz colored glass chip beads.  It's clasp is brown satin ribbon, so that you can wear it at multiple lengths.  It really looks stunning on.  I have one more of the vintage earrings so I could make you a necklace just like April or similar, using the same pendant.  April was $38.  Email me at tallymj@gmail.com if you are interested in a necklace like April!

A New Venture!

I am so excited to announce that Tallyana Jewelry can now be found for sale in the Jane Pabon Consignment shop in St. Charles, IL! It is a really cool shop, owned by a Christian woman, who is super nice and really helping me get my feet wet in the retail side of my business. You should all go and check out her shop, there is lots of nice, trendy clothes and shoes for sale there. I have also continued to explore more with antique broaches. I have three different ones that I am going to post as examples. If you have a broach, maybe a family heirloom, that you think you would like as a necklace, just email me and can help you with that! They really are a very classy and a uniquely cool look! Here is the first one, Jane. The owner of the shop, Jane Pabon, helped give design ideas for me to make it. The next necklace I have made with a broach was also commissioned by someone. She found a necklace that she liked on another website, and then I made one similar, but with her own flare. I found a cool flower pin at an antique store and I used it in this necklace, it is called Felicia.      

       

                                                              

Lastly, I have one more necklace that is the same style as these. This one is actually made with a vintage earring instead of a broach. It has a much smaller look. One is made with pearl and gold colored beads on the earring, and then strung with pearls and sterling silver chain. This is actually for sale! Emily

Emily is a smorgasbord of beads and colors!  It is definitely one those necklaces that you could wear with anything.  I think I used at least one of each of the beads that I have.  It has red, orange, green, blue, purple, black, brown, and yellow.  The beads are strung on gold posts and attached to each other with gold chain.  The necklace is about 18 inches long, hanging around the mid chest bone.  Emily is a light and airy necklace, a must have!  It is $22, plus shipping.  Email me at tallymj@gmail.com if you are interested in Emily.

Ame

Kathy

I know that it seems like a long time since I have posted a necklace.  I have had more personal orders lately, instead of just creating on my own.  I really do enjoy both.  This necklace actually I had in mind of making, but before I could make it I had a friend who asked me if I had anything made in red.  I quickly made this one because I knew that she would like it!  I sometimes come across inspiration when I am in different stores, looking at lots of different jewelry, and that's where I got my inspiration for this necklace.  It is just tiny red and light blue beads randomly on three different strands.  Then I braided the three strands together.  I made the earrings exactly the same way.  This set of jewelry was $30, plus shipping.  I can make a necklace like this in any two colors you would want! Let me know if you are interested in a necklace like Kathy!  tallymj@gmail.com

Lorelai

There is a new favorite in town!! As I mentioned in my previous post, I recently got this really great jewelry book. Lorelai is another one of my creations inspired by this book. I found a pair of antique earrings from this shop nearby, and created an necklace around them! The earring pendants are multi-colored beads strung together into a cluster. I then strung a mixture of amber, brown, red, and orange beads, along with gold chain, and attached them to the pendants. This is by far the most unique necklace that I have made.

Like I said, this is my new favorite. I just love that it is so colorful and bright. I think that it would look great with an evening gown, as well as jeans. I'm not quite sure if I am ready to part with this one just yet, but if you are interested in Lorelai you can email me at tallymj@gmail.com.

Jasmine

A good couple friend of ours gave me a great gift for my birthday... a jewelry book! I was so excited because I got a lot of cool new ideas for necklaces. I was definitely inspired! Jasmine is one of my creations inspired by this book. It is a pretty simple necklace. It is a longer gold chain with two amber colored beads dangling. It is a great, simple addition to any outfit!
