This past weekend my mother-in-law gave me an old necklace of her mom's to "re-vamp." I was excited to take a big, chunky, not too dainty looking necklace and make it into something really pretty and elegant. I wish I had taken a before picture for you! The necklace started as a three tier, brown necklace, and I was actually able to take it apart and make three separate necklaces. Here is what I came up with!
With this last one, I also had an antique broach that I attached and made it part of the necklace. I think that it really went together really well!
I have really had a great time revamping these necklaces. So, if you have a necklace that you don't wear anymore for any reason, and you think that you would like it better if it were different, just let me know!
